New R IDE Demo: If you're writing programs in the R language, a modern development environment can really provide a productivity boost. The R Productivity Environment is included with Revolution R Enterprise for Windows, and includes code editing and debugging tools to speed the process of delivering robust code. See it in action in this 3-minute video.

What is the Big Deal about R?: Ever been asked by a friend or colleague about this new "R" language, and not had an answer at the ready? We've just added a new page to Inside-R.org to help you answer the question: What is R? And if your colleague is looking for reasons to use R, we've added a page for that too: Why Use R. We've also added a list of community-based Resources for R to help get them started.

Revolution at useR! 2010: Come and meet the Revolution Analytics team at useR! 2010, the world's largest gathering of R users. We'll be hosting a party for the official launch of Inside-R.org in Rockville, MD on Wednesday July 21st at 8PM (more details). Admission is free, so come along and join the fun!

Revolution at JSM 2010: We'll also be attending the annual conference of the American Statistical Association, JSM 2010 in Vancouver BC. Come and meet the Revolution Analytics team at Booth 527 or at our "Introduction to Revolution R" social event at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel, Ballroom A on Tuesday, August 3rd at 4PM.
