If you are using a different version of R, our technical support team will make their best effort to assist, but may be unable to reproduce or diagnose your problem and cannot guarantee a resolution.

Our technical support team has test environments for the following operating systems so that they can replicate, diagnose and resolve your problems:

  • CentOS 5.x and 6x
  • SUSE Linux - 11.x through 13.x
  • MacOS - 10.6 and up
  • Ubuntu Linux - 12.04.3 LTS, 12.10, 13.10
  • Microsoft Windows - Version 7, 8, 8.1 - Server 2008, 2012

If you're using R on a platform other than those listed above, our Support team will make reasonable effort to assist in unsupported platforms, but can make no guarantees to resolve your problem if it is related to the operating system platform.

Our QA team has independently validated the following packages to pass a battery of tests on the supported platforms listed above. They can therefore provide full support for these R packages:

  • R Base packages: base, compiler, datasets, grDevices, graphics, grid, methods, parallel, splines, stats, stats4, tcltk, tools, utils
  • R Recommended packages: KernSmooth, MASS, Matrix, boot, class, cluster, codetools, foreign, lattice, mgcv, nlme, nnet, rpart, spatial, survival

The Fine Print

  • One named technical support contact per annual subscription. This contact will be required to register their email address on our Support Portal to take full advantage of the discussion groups, knowledgebase and ticket management tools.
  • Support services available 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday in subscriber’s local time zone (excluding local holidays).
  • Due to the complex nature of software development and operating environments, Revolution Analytics cannot guarantee the time it will take to resolve a problem after the initial response. We will use all commercially reasonable business resources to insure the timely resolution of problems. Problems related to defects or enhancements in R itself, if so verified, will be addressed through the R-Project defect tracking process.
