Revolution Analytics tracks the domains from which users visit Revolution Analytics and analyzes that data for trends and statistics. Subject to the provisions of this Privacy Statement, Revolution Analytics may use that accumulated data for various purposes, including but not limited to marketing, customer service evaluation and planning.
Currently, Revolution Analytics uses personal information for notifications to users, “opt-in” e-mails. In order to implement some of the Terms and Conditions of Use governing the website (“ Terms”), user names and emails addresses (as well as anything else the user posts) are publicly available on the Revolution Analytics website. When users voluntarily and publicly disclose personal information that may contain Registration Data, or otherwise post personal information in conjunction with content subject to an Open Source License, that information will necessarily be disclosed subject to the terms of the license.
Revolution Analytics may conduct surveys of its customer base and usage for its marketing and planning purposes. In the event that the responses of surveys are publicly disclosed, users will be notified at the time they take the survey and Revolution Analytics will only disclose the aggregate information regarding its users, and not personal information, which would identify any specific individual. Participation in surveys is at the users option; Revolution Analytics does not conduct mandatory surveys. Revolution Analytics would publically disclose aggregate information in circumstances like press communications, but is not limited to that.
In order to implement or enforce the Terms, Revolution Analytics may use personal information to contact users on an individual basis.
At no time, unless law requires such disclosure, disclosure is necessary to aid law enforcement, or a user specifically authorizes such disclosure, will Revolution Analytics disclose individual user personal information that is not publically available to unrelated third parties.
